Pecha Kucha

- How to pronounce it

• Rules
  • Maximum 20 slides
  • NO bullets! Use images, charts, maps, etc
  • Each slide is on a 20 second timer, all timed the same (6 minutes 40 seconds total)
  • Example
  • Another Good example that explains how to make one

Ignite

- easier to pronounce, if nothing else :)

• Rules
  • Same as Pecha Kucha, except...
  • Each slide is on a 15 second timer, all timed the same. (5 minutes total)

Alternatives to Powerpoint/Keynote

• Adobe Spark Posters, Pages, Videos - Excellent!!
• Microsoft Sway - fits very nicely with Office 365. Can be inserted into Nearpod presentations.
  • Sway for education - explore here (Note that student eamples prove that the program doesn't automatically fix bad presentations!)
  • Interactive Multimedia in Sway - some examples
• Wikified paper - think of it as a wikipedia-type page
